On Saturday, 30 May 2026, we took part in a presentation at the “Po Primorsko” market, which once again brought together numerous local producers, visitors, and lovers of authentic Slovenian flavours at the Koper waterfront.
Among numerous companies from the Primorska region and across Slovenia, we — a group of producers under the “Selected Quality – Milk and Dairy Products” scheme, Planika — also presented our dairy products and the story we have been co-creating for decades in the unspoiled nature of the Soča Valley. In sunny weather and a pleasant atmosphere, visitors had the opportunity to taste our products and discover the richness of flavours from the Slovenian countryside. The stalls also offered excellent wines, fresh fruit, and many other local and Slovenian specialities.
We are especially proud that many of our products carry the “Selected Quality – Slovenia” label, which certifies the Slovenian origin of raw materials, traceability of production, and high quality standards. This certification represents a commitment to preserving local production and ensuring products that consumers can trust.
An important place among our products is also held by Tolminc cheese, which carries the European Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). This is a product with a rich tradition that reflects the characteristics of the Alpine environment, the knowledge of local cheesemakers, and a heritage that has been passed down from generation to generation in the Soča Valley.
Such events are an excellent opportunity for meetings, sharing stories, and connecting with people who appreciate high-quality local food. We are pleased that we were able to bring our work, values, and dedication to producing dairy products from Slovenian milk closer to the visitors.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand, chatted with us, and helped us create a pleasant day in the Primorska region. We look forward to new meetings and gatherings over the flavours of the Soča Valley!
